Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

Kiwanis Club of Lima Howl’oween Trick or Trot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Sunday October 26, 2025 The Kiwanis Club of Lima is pleased to sponsor its 7th annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K, Fun Run Walk & Virtual Pet Contest which will take place on October 26, 2025 ( A virtual option is available for the races.) Proceeds will help fund Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs to benefit the children and residents of Allen County: The Kiwanis Club of Lima works with local school systems to help cultivate young leaders through service with their service leadership clubs at the elementary, middle and high schools. These clubs are recognized for their work throughout the USA and continue to grow each year. The Virtual Pet Contest will benefit local animal welfare agencies: The Humane Society of Allen County, Deb's Dogs, and A Lotta Love Pet Rescue. Start Time: Staggered Start the Fun Run will start at 4:00 P.M. and the 5K will start shortlyafter the Fun Run at 4:20 P.M. Start Location: West side of Faurot Park on Rosedale Drive - Lima, OH Race Items Pick-up: 5pm-6:30pm on October 24 at Allen County Children's Services, 123 West Spring Street, Lima, Ohio 45801 and Race Day 2:00-3:30pm Entry Fee 5K: Early Registration on or before July 17, 2025--$27. After July 17 through October 1st --$30. After October 1st through October 25th --$35 and $40.00 on Race Day.Entry Fee Fun Run and Virtual Fun Run: Early Registration on or before September 1, 2025--$25. After September 1, 2025--$30. Race Shirt: Receive a commemorative shirt. Register early and get yours!Registrations received after October 1, 2025 will not have the race shirt included. Limitedquantities may be available for purchase on race day. Entry Fee Pet Contest: $10 for first pet. $5 for each additional pet & $10 for commemorativeshirt (same as race shirt) $15 for commemorative shirt for additional family members.Pet Contest will be on the Kiwanis Club of Lima Facebook Page. Deadline is October 24, 2025 1 Mile Fun Run (Distance can be modified for those who are not able to complete the entire distance) This is not atimed event! Refreshments will be available to all that cross the finish line. Awards presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and top three in each male and female agegroup for the 5K. 10 & under, 11-14, and 15-19.
