Hornedo Middle School 2nd Annual 5K Race & 1 mile fun run/walk PLACE: Hornedo Middle School 6101 High Ridge El Paso TX 79912 DATE: May 17, 2026 Start time: 8:00 a.m. Come celebrate a fun family event at Hornedo Middle School! Join us for our 2nd Annual 5K race and 1-mile fun run/walk. Invite your family and friends to this fun-filled morning with a race and fun events to follow. We will have photo booth, music, and food trucks. DISTANCES OFFERED: 5K and 1 mile EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FEES *Early Bird Registration: Now- April 17th $25 - 18 and under $30 - 19 and up FREE 10 & younger- (Shirt and medal not included) TIER 2 REGISTRATION FEES April 17th - May 15th $30 - 18 and under $35 -19 and up Late Registration Prices: May 15th &17th (shirt not guaranteed) $35 - 18 and under $40 - 19 and up FREE 10 & younger- (Shirt and medal not included) Sleep-In - For those that don't want to run but want to support! $15 (No shirt or medal) TEAMS DISCOUNT Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5 discount - The first 9 people to register for your team will pay regular price & receive a $5 refund once the 10th person joins your team. Everyone from the 10th person on to join your team will pay the discounted price. Trophy to the largest Team! PACKET PICK-UP DETAILS EARLY PICK-UP LOCATION & TIME Friday, May 15th 1:00 -5:00 pm at Hornedo Middle School RACE DAY PICK-UP LOCATION & TIME Sunday, May 17th 7am –7:45am at Hornedo Middle School blacktop by race start AWARDS The first 300 to register for the 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk will get finisher medals. 5K Awards go to the top three males and females in each age group: 8 &under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older Largest team award DONATIONS: All donations and proceeds will help the Hornedo PTA to continue hosting so many wonderful events for our students and teachers.
