Anadel Speaks presents Hope in Motion! You are warmly invited to the very first Hope in Motion 5K, hosted by the Anadel Speaks Foundation, taking place at the breathtaking Bachman Lake Park in Dallas, Texas. Lace up your shoes and join heart-to-heart stride as we come together to stand in solidarity with children in need—especially those who’ve endured the trauma of sexual violence—and uplift communities across sub‑Saharan Africa and beyond. Why Bachman Lake Park is the perfect place for our race • With a shimmering 205-acre lake surrounded by a scenic 3–3.5 mile paved trail, Bachman Lake offers an inspiring path for runners and walkers alike. • The park comes alive with nature’s beauty—watch playful ducks and geese, admire ancient cypress trees, and catch spectacular views of planes taking off and landing at nearby Love Field. • Alongside your journey, you’ll pass fitness stations, shaded benches, drinking fountains, and the park’s beloved pavilion—perfect for gathering and celebration. • Families will feel right at home with playgrounds, picnic spots, and even a recreation center featuring an indoor pool and community space. Join us virtually! We’re excited to offer a Virtual Hope in Motion 5K for those who want to run (or walk) in support of our cause from wherever they are. With gratitude and excitement, The Anadel Speaks Foundation Team PRE - PACKET PICKUP: TBD Race Day Schedule: Saturday September 27th, 2025 T-SHIRT CUTOFF- September 6th 7 am- 8 am Packet Pickup 8:10 am National Anthem 8:15am - Interactive Warm UP 8:30am – 5K 9:30am – Awards 9:45 am – Course closes VOLUNTEER WITH US-Packet pickup: -Aid station (Super High Priority): Provide water to participants as they pass by. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles and trash and placing it in the provided trash cans. -Course Monitor ( Super High Priority): Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction. Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Biggest Group Award 10 or more to a group to receive the biggest group award! AWARDS1st Male and 1st Female Overall Top 3 Male and Female for the following: 1st 2nd and 3 place awards. 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 Anyone can pick up your packet.Maximum 6 packets per pick up.Preregister on your personal device before arriving at Packet Pickup. REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY Cancelation Policy: Hope In Motion5K event will proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy. In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to an half hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turns into lightening, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. A lot of hours, days and even months goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions. Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation. If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course.
