Hellz Bellz Ultra

Your adventure will start in the small town of Yacolt Wa. This year (2024) we will be starting at The Yacolt Recreation Park as the train tracks are under construction (No Train). You will be escorted approx. 2 miles to the Moulton Falls Regional Park, giving you a chance to stretch your legs out before hitting the intense and grueling climb up Bells Mountain. After passing through multiple clear cuts, stream crossings and stunning views of Mt St Helens... around the ten mile mark you'll come to the Yacolt Burn Aid Station>> Upon leaving the Yacolt Burn Aid Station you will embark on a counter clock wise loop on the Tarbell Trail. It will be twenty two plus miles of technical climbs, amazing waterfalls and breath taking views, looping you back around to the same Yacolt Burn AS. >> May want to rest up for a brief moment, get your bearings before starting the last push back down the Bells Mountain trail ..for the 10 plus miles to the Finish..... where you'll Ring the Bell! In addition to the Hellz Bellz Ultra, We have provided the opportunity for those that are not quite ready for Hellz, with the addition of the Purgatory Trail Marathon! This event is in what we consider our backyard... we love these trails and outdoor places. While your out there soaking in the views and rejoicing in the pain.... please leave no trace. There will be two additional fully stocked Aid Stations located on the Tarbell section of the course.The Grouse Vista AS approx mile 17 & Tarbell AS approx mile 27 for a total of 4 Aid Stations. One SMALL drop bag is allowed & will be waiting at the Yacolt Burn AS Hellz Bellz packet pick up & check in will be located in the town of Yacolt at " Yacolt Recreation Park" . Tent camping will be available at the park on the night before the event. Opening at 12:00pm Sat June 29th Yacolt will be having their Rendezvous Days Celebration this weekend. So come spend the whole weekend as there will be plenty of activities going on and local vendors to support! It is REQUIRED you check in at Yacolt Recreation Park no later than 6:00am on Sunday June 30th Permits Pending , We will have more information coming soon with updates to the website, new partners & as permits are being finalized.
