Heartbeats For Life 5K

The race will begin and end at Lunken Playfield (Doors open at 7:30 am and the race starts at 9:30am Host: The Heartbeats for Life 5K is sponsored by Cincinnati Right to Life and Cincinnati Life Runners to bring the pro-life community together for a family-friendly day full of fun, fellowship, and life. Proceeds go toward pro-life efforts to affect culture and public policy. Packet Pick-Up will be Race Day. Divisions: 5k Run Divisions: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-69, 70+ 5k Walk Division: 20 and under, 21 - 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Race Day Schedule of events: 7:30 am - 9:15 am – Race Day Check-in 9:30 – Race begins 10:30 - Awards announced 10:45- Kids dash (10 and under) After the raffle closes, names are pulled and posted on boards. Please have everyone check the boards to see if they won. Registration: Adults 18 and over: $35. $45 on race day. Youth 17 and under: $25. $30 on race day. Family price: $110 All participants will receive chip timing and a t-shirt while supplies last. Free Kids Fun Run: After the 5K Run/Walk Notes: Infants in strollers and children participating in the Kid’s Dash are free and will not receive chips, but must be registered. Please select the Free kids event. No pets please. All proceeds benefit Cincinnati Right to Life Educational Foundation and Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati projects to protect the sanctity of human life in Southwestern Ohio and beyond. Cincinnati Right to Life Educational Foundation provides education regarding bioethical issues such as abortion, human experimentation, and euthanasia; works to improve personal and social awareness and responsibility for all human life; promotes care and assistance for mothers and children, the handicapped and the elderly; and encourages pro-life research and education on life issues. Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati works to establish a life affirming culture by organizing legislative efforts, encouraging pro-life candidates and office holders, and monitoring public and private entities’ decisions and practices affecting human life issues.
