Greensburg YMCA Annual Indoor Triathlon

Join us for the annual Greensburg YMCA indoor triathlon! Individual registration cost is $40. The event requirements include a 16-length (400 yards) indoor pool swim, a 9-mile indoor stationary bike ride, and a 2-mile run on a treadmill. 1st heat will begin at 8:30 am. Same day registration will open at 7:00 am and will close at 8:00 am. THE MINIMUM AGE TO PARTICIPATE IS 15 YEARS OLD. The Indoor Triathlon is based on time taken to complete the designated distance - meaning how fast over a fixed distance. Swim: 400 yards in the pool (16 lengths), 15-minute cap Transition 1: 5-minutes (move from the pool to cycle studio) Bike: 9 miles on an indoor bike, 30-minute cap Transition 2: 5-minutes (move from the cycle studio to treadmills) Run: 2 miles on an indoor treadmill, 30-minute cap Results: will be measured by the time taken to complete each event, totaled into one final time. All three event times are added to calculate your final score. Therefore, your rank and time will not be determined until all participants have completed the event. Those registered by March 27th, will be guaranteed a shirt. Registrations after the 27th, are first come, first served. Race day individual registration will be $55. Awards will be given to the top male and female overall, and 1st place in age group categories.
