Gillham Road GobbleTrot 5K

The fourteenth Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K is coming back to Hyde Park this fall! With in-person and virtual options, as well as a Children's Dash, the Gillham Road GobbleTrot 5K Fun Run/Walk is your source for active, family-friendly fun this Thanksgiving holiday. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Community Programs of the Pilgrim Center . The start and finish (both southbound) will be just north of the Pilgrim Chapel, 3801 Gillham Road. • The course will take runners and walkers along Gillham Road, through the Hyde Park neighborhood, and past Hyde Park the park. • All in-person 5K participants (runners & walkers) are chip timed. • The course has been certified by the USATF. 5K runners and walkers will receive a long sleeve T-shirt (shirts not guaranteed if registering after Nov. 12). Age Groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-84, 85+. First, second, and third place medals are awarded in each division, and Male and Female Masters each are awarded a custom-engraved stainless steel Yeti travel cup. See more on our website . The Children's Dash for kids 8 & under is held at the conclusion of the 5K run and walk. Divisions are: 4 & Under, 5-6, and 7-8. The younger two divisions run 100 yards and the older division runs 200 yards. Dash participants receive a T-shirt (not guaranteed if registering after Nov. 12).
