Get Race-Ready: Fun Open Water Swims at Lake Pflugerville! Calling triathletes & endurance swimmers! Dominate your next Sprint or OLY distance race with our Fun Open Water Swim meetups at Lake Pflugerville Beach (Northside). Swim your own distance! Boost your skills & confidence in a safe & supportive environment: Mentor-led swims: Improve technique, build endurance, & practice race strategies. Kayak support: Navigate confidently with expert guidance. Certified OWS lifeguards: In-water support for added safety. Experienced leaders: Receive coaching tips and personalized feedback. Welcoming community: Connect with fellow athletes and build lasting bonds. Open to all Swim levels: Beginners welcome! We offer a special 100-125 yard swim-along-shore course loop for new triathletes to ease into open water swimming. Train for specific races: Cal Tri, IM Texas 140.6, CapTex, Tri Waco, Marble Falls, Lake Pflugerville, Kerrville, Waco 70.3. Practice on our outlined 400-500 yard sprint course. Dates & Times: April 12 May 10 June 14 July 12 September 13 (Every 2nd Saturday from April to September, at 7:00AM - in water start 7:15AM) What to Bring to Fun Open Water Swims: Swimsuit, goggles, cap, sunscreen, & personal gear. Safety buoys highly recommended. Cost of Fun Open Water Swim Meetups: $15 drop-in rate per swim $50 season pass: Includes commemorative premium swim cap, one free meetup ($15 savings), and guaranteed entry to each swim.
