First Mount Zion Baptist Church 7th Annual Healthy Start Mind & Body 5K Run/Walk

We welcome and encourage you to come out and join us for our 7th Annual Healthy Start Mind & Body 5K Run/Walk, to JUMP START the Fall Season off to a Healthy Start and help a worthy cause! The purpose of this event is to promote and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease while being mindful of how keeping our mind & body active leads to a healthy life with positive outcomes. Also, consider supporting this cause by additionally donating any amount that will help the Alzheimer’s Association in their endeavor to providing Alzheimer’s care, programming, support, and research. The donate button is at the top of this registration page. Together, we can help find a cure for this disease in which over seven million Americans are living with. The 5K race will be held at the beautiful, Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, Virginia. This paved course winds its way along the delightful Occoquan River, extending you splendid, scenic views throughout the park’s natural terrain. We will have a DJ on site and there will be an award ceremony and a catered meal after the completion of the race at the Occoquan Regional Park Pavilion.
