Hosting Venue Katy Trail Ice House The Ice House is an Austin style beer garden and restaurant, located in the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail. A fifty foot long bar boasts fifty beers on tap, ranging from Texas Domestics to Regional and International Imports on the draw. We have been awarded the best patio in Dallas with our open seating communal beer garden. The Run 5K and 1M Fun Run - will take place on the beautiful Katy Trail. Water stops will be available on the 5K course at mile 1 and mile 2. The Swag Brunch Pass - All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for those over 21 years of age (must be 21 bring I.D.) Firecracker 5K T-shirt (they are awesome but runners who wait until the last minute to register may not receive the size they want or may not receive a t-shirt at all. T-shirts must be order ahead of time, and we cannot guess accurately who will register after we place the order and what size they might wish to receive) Finisher Medal Virtual Race Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal via mail during the week after the race. Packet Pickup EARLY PACKET PICKUP Day 1: July 2nd, 2pm-6pm, Day 2: July 3rd, 2pm-5pm at Playtri Dallas, Hillside Village Shopping Center, 6465 E Mockingbird Ln #358, Dallas, TX 75214. RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP July 4, 2026 6:45am -7:45am at the race site Katy Trail Ice House 3127 Routh St, Dallas, TX 75201 Race Day Schedule 6:45am -7:45am late packet pickup 7:50am Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced. Dress up your pup and come on for a walk! The best dressed up pups will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! (Fun prizes for winners) 8:00am 5K starts (no late starts will be allowed) 8:05am 1M fun run & Dog Walk starts 8:30am Brunch starts 9:00am Awards Ceremony 10:00am Brunch Ends (Must be present to receive awards; awards cannot be mailed) Course Notes The use of personal music devices during the race is strongly discouraged. To enjoy all that participating in a race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, race management encourages a headphone-free environment during the event. Safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. Per USATF safety rules and insurance, no pets are allowed on the 5K. Strollers are allowed to be safely integrated into the event. Pets are welcome in the 1M fun event. The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 and no minimum age for the 1 mile. Race Day Management reserves the right to change any event course at any time due to safety, weather conditions, or other production concerns. Parking There will be 70 VALET parking spots available at the venue. Other parking available in the other Icehouse parking lot streets by the venue. Awards 5K awards: Top Finisher Overall Male and Female Top Finisher Masters & Grand Masters Male and Female 3 Top Male and Female Finishers in Age Groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ 1M fun run is not timed, no awards, just fun. Timing The 5K is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. We will be using disposable timing tags for this event that you will receive with your bib at packet pickup. The 1M fun run will not be timed. Please wear your bib visibly on the FRONT for timing purposes
