Finish the Race 5K & Fun Run Presented by BBC Norman 📅 Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026 📍 Location: Ruby Grant Park – Norman, OK 🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 5K Start | 9:05 AM – 1-Mile Fun Run | Free Kids Dash (8 & under) before the 5K Join us for the Finish the Race 5K & Fun Run , a community-wide event celebrating fitness, fellowship, and faith — all while supporting a great cause! Whether you’re a dedicated runner, casual walker, or bringing the family for a morning of fun, there’s something for everyone. This event is more than just a race — it’s an opportunity to come together, encourage one another, and help send kids to Camp Unite . Event Highlights: ✅ Timed 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run ✅ FREE Kids Dash (8 & under) before the race ✅ Fellowship, refreshments, and community fun ✅ Proceeds help send kids to Camp Unite Participant Perks All participants will receive: ✔️ A custom race bib ✔️ A finisher gift to celebrate your accomplishment ✔️ Official timing chip for 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run participants ✔️ A morning filled with faith, fellowship, and fun for the whole family ! 👕Add a race shirt to your registration for just $10 . Any remaining shirts will be sold at the race while supplies and sizes last. Course Description: This is a trail run through a well-maintained community park in Norman, OK. The course is mostly flat with a few gentle hills and consists of grass, sidewalk, and some gravel surfaces . It’s smooth and safe for runners and walkers of all levels and is often used for local high school cross-country races. Awards: Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers , as well as the top male and female f inisher in each age division (5K only). All 5K and 1-Mile finishers will receive a finisher gift . Parking & Accommodations: Parking is available on the west side of Ruby Grant Park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road . Restrooms are located in the main parking lot.
