Fifth Street Cross (Weekly Cyclocross and 5k Series)

Each Thursday starting September 3rd and running until November 19th, includes one 5k-ish run and two cyclocross races. Registration opens at 5:00p. The 5k-ish is 2x laps starting at 6:00pm. The first bike race is 4x laps and starts at 6:30pm. We take a break between races to check your lights or figure out why you’re here in the first place. The second race is three laps in the opposite direction. We keep score, but as long as you start the race, you’re winning! Onsite registration opens at 5:00p. About the Course You run at the Emmaus Compost Center (it’s not a dump!) between the tape of the cyclocross course. This will the 21st year of Fifth Street Cross! The course is twisty and turny and usually a lot slower than most people think any reasonable running course should be. Fifth Street Cross began as a cyclocross bike race series, and you can participate in both. You can register for both here for a flat fee of $20. So much fun to be had, so much racing to do!
