Evenstar Ultras

Get ready for a fun day of adventure, miles, and community at Evenstar Ultras at Shenandoah River State Park.This is a timed event, meaning you choose the amount of time you’d like to run and cover as much distance as you can within that block. The 3.48- mile trail loop brings you back frequently to the main aid station, so there’s no need to carry excessive gear, fuel or navigation tools. With 3-, 6-,12-, and 24- hour options, there is something for everyone, whether you’re aiming for your first 50k or taking on the challenge of 100 miles. This is a no DNF race, every distance and accomplishment is celebrated!Evenstar is a nod to the lore of Tolkein’s Middle-earth and the sense of adventure and wonder we hope to bring to our events. The name also reflects the spirit of the Shenandoah Valley, known as the “Daughter of the Stars”, a reference to the stars that reflected upon the river below, making the valley a daughter of the stars above.
