English's Ridge Rumble

The 2024 Salt City Trail Series by Reluctant Runner Racing will kick the year off with the 7th Annual English's Ridge Rumble at beautiful and serene Green Lakes State Park! While most of the course will remain the same as 2023, there's a good possibility that the Start/Finish line will be moved out of the parking lot and up to the Frisbee Golf Pavilion. We're still working on the details and more information will be provided once everything is confirmed. Whether a seasoned trail vet or new to the trail scene, you'll love this race because while it'll challenge your fitness, the trails are runner friendly. And if you frequent the trails at Green Lakes you already know how beautiful it can be! If this is your first trail race or first time at GLSP, you are in store for a treat! This course will hit many of the prettiest and challenging corners of the park, including the Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline, and Quarry Hill! In between those places you'll find yourself among open fields with vistas for days and old growth forests! Keep in mind, ERR has become a popular race option for a lot of runners and will sell out so don't wait too long to decide whether or not to take on the challenge of the English's Ridge Rumble! The English Ridge Rumble is a USATF-sanctioned event.
