Electric City Gobbler 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

It's a Thanksgiving Day Tradition! If you think the only race that happens on Thanksgiving Day is seeing who gets a second helping of pumpkin pie first, guess again! Before lifting a fork, watching football, and taking a post-turkey snooze, hundreds Andersonian's start their holiday by giving thanks - with the famous Electric City Gobbler 5K and 1 MILE FUN RUN! and NEW this year Feathers on Fire 1 Mile Time Trial! We welcome the tail feathers of Elite runners, weekend warriors, mamma's with strollers and kids alike along our fast 5K run course 1 Mile FUN RUN and NEW for 2026... the Feathers on Fire 1 Mile Time Trial! So, if you have a flair for costumed fun, and enjoy fun, prizes and looking for a reason to feel guilt free about gobbling down all day, then lucky for you (and your love of green bean casserole) we are here, so get signed up you turkeys!! Proceeds go to scholarship kids in the community to be active through our Operation Active Kids Program, OAK. (SC04033BS) COURSE MAP HERE 1 Mile FUN Run: Course is enclosed around Mall (not timed) Feathers on Fire 1 Mile Time Trial is enclosed around Mall Finish Line: Medals and Hydration at Finish Line Electric City Gobbler 5K Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Overall Winners Top 3 Male and Female Overall Masters Winners Top 3 Male and Female Overall Grandmasters Feathers on Fire 1 Mile Time Trial Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Overall Winners Age Groups 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-74 , 75-79, 80+ Registration: Registration online page will reflect price - price includes chipped bib and finish line medal. Souvenir race shirts are optional and can be added on for a fee. Strollers are welcome & Costumes are encouraged!
