Eastern States 20 Miler & Half Marathon

RACE DATE: Sunday, March 22, 2026 20 Miler Start Location: Traip Academy (12 Williams Ave, Kittery, ME) Start Time: 11:00am Half Marathon Start Location: Odiorne Point State Park (570 Ocean Blvd, Rye, NH) Start Time: 10:30am Finish Location: Hampton Beach State Park (8 State Park Rd, Hampton, NH 03842 EARLY BIB PICK-UP: Available at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Road, Bedford, NH) on Saturday, March 21, 2026 (10:30am-6:00pm) RACE DAY REGISTRATION & BIB PICK-UP: Race Day Bib Pick Up & Registration (if not sold out) for BOTH the 20 Miler and the Half Marathon will be held at the respective start locations. – Registration for the Half Marathon will open at 9:00am at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH – Registration for the 20 Miler will open at 9:30am at Traip Academy in Kittery, ME SHIRT PICK-UP: Shirts can be picked up at the finish line at Hampton Beach State Park upon finishing the race. PARTICIPANT PARKING: ALL participant parking is located at Hampton Beach State Park (8 State Park Rd, Hampton, NH, 03842) There is NO dedicated participant parking, drop-off parking, nor spectator parking at either the 20 miler start line or half marathon start line. SHUTTLE BUSES: Dedicated shuttle buses will take participants from Participant Parking at Hampton Beach State Park to the Start of the 20 Miler at Traip Academy in Kittery, ME or the Start of the Half Marathon at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH, respectively. There are no post race shuttles back to the start lines. All buses to the Half Marathon Start Line will depart Hampton Beach State Reservation at 8:45AM, sharp. All buses to the 20 Miler Start Line will depart Hampton Beach State Reservation at 8:45AM, sharp. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from Participant Parking to both start venues, respectively. Bathrooms are available at Participant Parking, both start venues, and finish line. RUNNER DROP OFF AT START: Participant Drop off is permitted at the 20 Miler Start at Traip Academy (20 Williams Ave, Kittery, ME) and the Half Marathon Start at Odiorne Point State Park (570 Ocean Blvd., Rye, NH) There is NO dedicated parking at either the 20 Miler start at Traip Academy or Half Marathon start at Odiorne Point State Park. Runner drop-off may be completed, however there will be no parking (even temporary) for the vehicle onsite. GEAR CHECK: Gear check drop off will be available for all participants at both start lines, Traip Academy or Odiorne Point State Park, respectively. Gear Check pick up can be claimed at the Gear Check tent at the finish line. MILE MARKERS: Mile Markers will COUNT DOWN in both the 20 Miler and Half Marathon. The 20 miler will count down from 19 to 1 and correspond with the last 13 miles (from 13 to 1) in the half marathon. i.e. the 1st mile into the 20 miler will be a “Mile 19” marker indicating 19 miles to go. AID STATIONS: Located approximately every 2.5-3 miles for both distances, there are 7 Aid Stations in the 20 Miler and 5 in the Half Marathon. All aid Stations will include water, Gatorade, and port-o-johns/toilets. GU Energy gels will be available at the mile 13.1 and 16.5 aid stations of the 20 miler / mile 6.1 and 9.5 aid stations of the half marathon. Trash (including nutrition packets, cups, etc.) should be disposed of within 100 yards of each aid station. For your convenience, trash buckets will also be available at every mile marker.
