Eagle in the Sun Triathlon

El Paso's premier multisport event, Eagle in the Sun Triathlon has introduced thousands to their first triathlon. Now entering its 16th year, the race is a favorite for new and experienced athletes alike and welcomes relay teams in addition to individual competitors. Eagle in the Sun Triathlon begins with a 400-meter swim in a 50-meter pool. Participants then ride on a mostly flat 12-mile out-and-back bike on the Border Highway and run 5K run on the Playa Drain Trail. First 600 participants guaranteed to receive a moisture-wicking race shirt, athlete bag, water bottle and swim cap. All participants will receive post-race snacks and drinks, an interactive race day Expo, chip timing, and more! Finisher medals for all participants! Get ready, get set, be ready to Tri in 2026!
