It is being called the "Faith & Animal Spirit" event where you can show up and support Humane Animal Partners (HAP) and honor your loved one with a 5k walk or run. Whether your loved one is still with us or just a cherished memory, you can show your "Faith & Animal" Spirit by taking a piece of your loved one and carrying them in your heart by being a better person than you were yesterday. RACE COURSE: 3.1m; Flat & Fast at Cape Henlopen State Park...Course will start at the north side of the bathhouse parking lot and follow the bike trail through Ft Miles to the rear of the campground and turning around on the trail at the Dune Tower. Water at Ft Miles. RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. will be timing the event using the Chronotrack B Chips. RACE AMENITIES: Short sleeved shirts to all participants...post-race awards in the park...a running good time. AWARDS: Overall & Master Male/Female Champion, as well as the top three finishers in 9 5K age groups: 9U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ REFUNDS/DEFERRAL: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options: 1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year. 2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event. 3.
