Dam Good Run

The Dam Good Run is a unique opportunity to run across the New Waddell Dam. Aravaipa Running, in partnership with Lake Pleasant Regional Park, brings you this 16th Annual run, walk & hike. All events except the 2 mile will cross the dam right away. The 26 kilometer and 40 kilometer courses will utilize newly constructed trails traversing along the shoreline and above the lake. The 40 kilometer course climbs to the top of Yavapai Point with incredible lake views. If you are lucky you may get the opportunity to spot a Lake Pleasant wild burro or two along the way! 2022 40KM Update: the foot bridge that connects the trail through Pipeline Cove is still out of commission and will require either a short trip in a (guided) raft with a life vest on or you have the option to put on a PFD vest and swim. The stretch is short and takes two minutes or less from putting on your vest, loading, and crossing. You will cross this Cove twice during your 40Km.
