
Día de los Muertos Run-Walk

We've kept you waiting long enough, but we're ready to hit the ground running for our 6th Annual Gardner Health Services Día de los Muertos Run-Walk. Join us on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 8am along the Guadalupe River Trail in San Jose, CA. This fundraising event and health initiative brings together patients, clients, staff, and the community in celebration of life, health, and the lives of those we love eternally. Join us as we raise funds to help children and families – who can't afford medical insurance – get free care! The event will feature a family-friendly 5K and 10K run-walk route, music, entertainment, and a health resource fair. BUT WAIT! Theres more.... EL DESFILE DE CATRINAS This year we will host El Desfile de Catrinas (Catrina Parade). Learn more about the history and meaning of Catrinas and enjoy a parade showcasing its beauty and culture. Participants and their families are welcome to walk in the parade. If you are interested, please contact ceszavala@gfhn.org. Or, wear the race shirt given at packet pick-up. LA OFRENDA Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of a passed loved one, flowers, etc. for our giant ofrenda on display (no glass or open flames). All items should be placed on the ofrenda by 7:30amPhotos should be 5″ x 7″ or smallerPlease pick up photo/items before leaving venue. All items left at the end of the event will be discarded.
