Country Roads Trail Run

Summit Bechtel Reserve, located adjacent to the legendary New River Gorge, is a trail runner’s paradise. Here you’ll find varied terrain from wide buttery singletrack to steep and technical off-trail sections, all winding through a lush, jungle-like forest and over steep, punchy climbs. This park is known as a place for adventurers of all kinds, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself running by an archery range, a rock wall, or under a zip line, but keep your eyes on the trail because there’s another climb ahead! This race is held within a classic Spartan OCR festival weekend.
