About this race
In the late 1880s Butte boomed as a copper mining town, it was once called The Richest Hill on Earth. The most successful mine owners were known as the Copper Kings.
The Copper Kings 100 is a 100 mile single loop course starts and ends at the Belmont Mine in Butte and includes 63 miles of the wonderful Continental Divide Trail.
