Christmas Classic 5k

Join us this holiday season for Finish Line Event’s Christmas Classic 5k at Oak Mountain State Park! Whether you’re racing for a personal best or taking a scenic hike with your family around Double Oak Lake, this event offers something for everyone. This race is child participation friendly and encouraged! Please note, our first 200 participants will receive custom Christmas Classic 5K swag. This event will sell out. This race offers TWO FINISH LINES ! For those that dare you can participate in the Polar Plunge Finish Line benefiting Alabama Wildlife Center. At the donations page, please make the $20 donation to be able to enjoy the icy waters. All proceeds will go directly to the Alabama Wildlife Center at Oak Mountain State Park. OR Do not worry about the donation and there will be a finish line for those that do not want to participate in the Polar Plunge. Just make sure to cheer when you see people make the icy jump! All 5k participants can look forward to: • An Alabama Wildlife Center Predator flyover to kick off the race. • A chance to meet some of the center’s birds and other local critters. • A delicious post-race brunch. • Incredible Christmas Classic 5k custom swag for our first 200 to register • A Polar Plunge to cool off • And don’t forget about the “Major awards” for the best tackiest sweater! This is a Holiday celebration you won’t want to miss! This will be a cupels event.
