Lace up for a great cause at the Chargers 5K ! This fun-filled day also features the Chargers Walk (1-mile stroll) and Chargers Trot (fun for kids)! This event benefits Columbia State students at the Williamson Campus , helping them stay on track and charge toward the finish line of their degree or certificate. Your support could provide just what a student needs to keep pace and stay in stride! Sat., March 21, 2026 Registration: 7 a.m. Chargers 5K: 8 a.m. Chargers Walk: 8:05 a.m. (approximately) Chargers Trot (for children up to age 10): 9 a.m. (by age group) See Pet Policy on our FAQ page. No pets are allowed. Pre-Race packet pick up: Thurs., March 19, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Arts and Technology Building. Note: A kids' zone with fun activities will be available from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Children’s activities are designed to be fun and engaging, and a parent or caregiver must remain with their child throughout the event. Chargers 5K Early Registration (Mon., Jan. 5 – Mon., Feb. 23, 2026): $30 – includes event T-shirt Regular Registration (Tues., Feb. 24 – Fri., March 20, 2026): $35 – T-shirt while supplies last Day-of Registration (Sat., March 21, 2026): $40 – T-shirt not guaranteed Bonus: 5K participants may join the Chargers Walk at no additional cost! Medals: All participants who complete the 5K, including children and teens, will receive a medal, with awards for individuals finishing first, second, and third. Chargers Walk (1 Mile) Flat Fee: $20 – includes event T-shirt if registered by Mon., Feb. 23 Perfect for families, friends, and community supporters looking for a fun, active way to show support. Participants will receive a ribbon. Chargers Trot + Kids’ Activities FREE! – Optional donations welcome to help Columbia State students Age Limit: Designed for children up to age 10 Activities include fun challenges, games, balloon art, and more! Ribbons: All children participating in the Chargers Trot will receive a ribbon. Racecourse: The course begins and ends on Columbia State’s Williamson Campus.
