Caryn's Kids 5k & Fun Run

We are gearing up for the 11th Annual Caring for Caryn's Kids 5K/1 Mile Fun Run! CK5K is a race to honor Mrs. Caryn Hyatt-Suthoff, a former Dodge Elementary kindergarten teacher, who lost her battle with cancer. We have had an event each year in her honor. The funds raised will help offset higher education costs for one or more of her kindergarten students. The event will feature a DJ, activities for kids, free food and beverages, as well as a chance to win our amazing door prizes! All of this for a great cause! Event details and schedule Saturday, April 25, 2026 5K- 8:00AM Fun Run- 9:00AM Benefits: Caryn’s Kids Scholarship Fund Date & Time: Saturday, April 25, 2026 5K will begin at 8AM Fun Run will begin at 9AM Distance: 5K Course & Fun Run approximately 1 Mile Location: The Grounds, 1035 Cody Road N., Mobile, AL 36608 Registration: Register by mail, no later than April 1, 2026. Race packets will be available at The Grounds on race day beginning at 6:30AM. Register in person race day is available beginning at 6:30am. Entry Fees: • R egistration $30 • Spirit Runners/Non-Competing Supporters- $20 (Spirit Runners will receive a t-shirt & can participate in the after party. Spirit Runners must pick up shirts on race day. Awards: 5K: Top Three Male & Female Winners in each Category Fun Run: Top Male & Female Group with most participation: Ages 0-9; Ages 10-19; Ages 20-29; Ages 30-39; Ages 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+ T-Shirts: To guarantee a shirt, you must submit your registration application no later than April 1, 2026. Post-Race: Refreshments, music, and awards ceremony. Children’s activities will be available as well.
