Carpe Diem - Carpe Noctem Half Marathon and 10K

Seize the Day and Seize the Night with one of Trivium's favorite events! The race will take place on the beautiful and smooth trails of Proud Lake State Recreation Area. These trails are perfect for running both day and night and will offer the unique opportunity for you to experience these trails both by sunlight and moonlight on the same day! The event includes both a long (Half Marathon) and short (10K ) option in the morning and evening. The morning race will be completed in daylight and the evening option will start before dark, but many people will finish after the sun has gone down! We will have both a day medal and a night medal! If you do both events, your two medals will connect to make one complete medal. *Night Running: Keep in mind that the evening race starts at 7:00 pm. This means that potentially you will be running after dark and will need lights (headlamps preferred but a flashlight will do) to complete the race depending on your pace!
