Bunny Run 5k & Festival

Come Join us for a hopping good time with our Bunny Run 5k & Festival on Saturday, April 4th. The festival includes face painting, DJ/MC, food trucks, arts & crafts and dancing with the Easter Bunny! Festival is from 9am to 11am. The festival is free. Races will begin on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. Awards given to top three overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75 and over. NEW FOR 2026: First Overall Male and Female Masters Division (40+), Grand Masters Division (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+) Register by March 13th to be guaranteed an awesome T-Shirt! Race Day Registration: Increases price of $10 on race day and while supplies last for all registrations after March 13th. (CARD ONLY ON RACE DAY). Registration is done via QR code at the event. Fun Run (1 mile) begins at 8:30am with the start/finish line on McCachern Blvd and following the Downtown Connector Greenway with a 1/2 mile turnaround 5k begins at 9am!
