Blessing on the Bayou 5K

Benefits: Saint Margaret Parish Location: Saint Margaret Catholic Church, 13790 South Wintzell Ave, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509 Distance: The 5K will start near the draw bridge, run through the southern portion of the city of Bayou La Batre, and finish at St. Margaret’s church. Registration: Register by mail (entries should be postmarked by April 26), drop off at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile, or online at runsignup.com until 6 AM May 2. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available at St. Margaret’s Church starting at 6:30 AM. Race fees will increase by $5 on race day Awards: Top male and top female finishers, top three male and female finishers in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99. *Winners must pick up their awards on race day. Shirts: Registered runners will receive a cotton race shirt. To guarantee a shirt on race day, you must submit your application and fees no later than April 21. Shirts will not be reordered after the race.
