BHI 2nd Annual 5K & Fun Run

This is the 2nd annual 5K run and fun run to be held on Black Hammock Island on August 1st, 2026. The race will be held entirely on the Island, and will feature a 5K run at 9AM and a fun run at 10M. You can run and walk either event. The race will start and finish at the Black Hammock Island Community Center, 15770 Sawpit Road, Jax, FL 32226. Race registration includes a short sleeve Tshirt, and a finisher medal, and post race back to school bash. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall M/F finishers of the 5K, and the First M/F finishers in age groups 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. There are no awards for the fun run Packet pickup will happen on Race morning at the Black Hammock Island Community Center starting at 7:30 AM
