Beast of Burden - Summer

Are you ready for the Summer Beast of Burden? Whether you are training to complete your first ultra distance event, or are a veteran of the sport, the Summer Beast of Burden is a true test of your endurance, set along the historic Erie Canal towpath. Athletes will choose either the 100 mile, 50 mile or 25 mile distance. Runners start at Wide Water'Marina where you'll have access to showers, restrooms and our fully stocked aid station. Runners leave the marina and run along a paved trail for approximately 1 mile before crossing the canal on one of Lockport's historic draw bridges and then run along the historic Erie Canal Towpath.
