Sue's Gift 18th Annual Be Ovary Aware 5k Run 3K Walk. Join us in raising awareness for gynecologic cancer and supporting Coloradans affected by all seven types of gynecologic cancers — ovarian, fallopian tube, uterine/endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and peritoneal. This event proudly benefits Sue’s Gift – Gynecologic Cancer Support. At Sue’s Gift, we believe everyone deserves the best possible chance at survival, regardless of their financial or social circumstances. Our Financial Assistance Program helps individuals undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer cover essential living expenses, easing the burden during an incredibly challenging time. In addition, our Peer Support Program—launched with a grant from the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance—trains survivors who are one year post-treatment to mentor those newly diagnosed with the same type of cancer. Research shows that individuals with strong emotional, social, and financial support throughout their cancer journey experience better outcomes and lower rates of PTSD. Your generosity directly supports these vital programs, bringing hope, strength, and practical assistance to those facing gynecologic cancer in Colorado. The Be Ovary Aware racecourse offers a scenic, flat route that winds along the beautiful Fountain Creek. This out-and-back course follows the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail and begins and ends in America the Beautiful Park, located in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs. Registration Fees Adults: $35 with pre-registration | $45 on race day Youth (16 and under): $15 with pre-registration | $25 on race day Youth may participate for free, but will not receive the paid participant benefits. *All pricing listed is before tax and processing fees. Additional expenses will be incured at final check out. T-Shirts Event T-shirts are not included with registration this year.
