Au Sable Valley Triathlon

Kayak 1 mile, Bike 11 miles, Run 3 miles. Kayak, bike, and run the beautiful and historic Huron National Forest, beginning in Mio Pond of the Au Sable River in Mio and ending at Boney Park in Fairview, Michigan. The Au Sable Valley Triathlon is an individual or team event, consisting of kayaking on the River backwaters, biking on paved roads, and running on grass/ dirt trails. It has been described as an intermediate-level event in terms of difficulty. Past participants have found it a fun, low-key, friendly competition and have enjoyed participating with friends and family members. Teams can be made up of two or three members. Medals will be awarded to the 1st-place teams in the men's, women's, and mixed categories, as well as 1st-3rd places in seven categories for Individuals. Lunch and a t-shirt are included in the entry fee.
