About this race

The Aspen Backcountry will return on August 1, 2026 and includes a 50 Kilometer distance to compliment the marathon and "heavy half" marathon! Aspen Backcountry will continue to be hosted next to the Duck Derby fundraising event held annually by the Rotary Club Aspen. We're extremely excited to be able to host this race and keep the backcountry marathons for the local Colorado community. We'll see you in Aspen!
