The Alliance is honored to announce that the 2026 9/11 National Memorial Trail Bike Tour is scheduled to take place from June 12 to July 11, 2026 , in observance of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 . This historic journey offers a powerful opportunity to reflect on a quarter century of remembrance and American resilience. This meaningful journey will cover a distance of 1,200 miles over 27 days , traversing scenic landscapes and paying tribute to the memory of those affected by the events of September 11, 2001. Commencing in Arlington, Virginia, at the Pentagon Memorial on June 5, the tour will take cyclists clockwise following the 9/11 National Memorial Trail route, connecting the three memorial sites, before ultimately ending back in Arlington, Virginia, on July 11. The 2026 tour will also span July 4 , coinciding with America’s 250th birthday , adding a profound layer of reflection on the nation’s history and resilience forged over centuries and reaffirmed in the aftermath of September 11, as cyclists pass through historic places such as Valley Forge, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C, and more.
