3 Little Pigs Triathlon

NOTE ON PARKING: Parking is not available in the Community Park this year. Only at the high school, which is right next to the Aquatics Center. NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP BY JUNE 2, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU A T-SHIRT! . This is the 14th year that the 3 Little Pigs Triathlon has been held. The swim is in the beautiful Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center in Smithfield, and is a 250 yards pool swim. The 14 mile bike course takes you from the SRAC into rural Johnston County on a scenic, but flat course. The 5k run course is an out-and-back course that will take you through Smithfield’s community park and onto the Buffalo Creek Greenway and back to SRAC. Swim Times: All participants must submit a 250 yard swim time for seeding purposes. Being a pool swim with a staggered start, participants are seeded from fastest to slowest. If you know any previous swim time from a practice, race, etc., we have supplied a distance calculator next to your estimated swim time. By seeding yourself properly, you'll end up swimming near people who swim the same pace as you. This will reduce the number of people who you will need to pass or the number of people who will be passing you. Parking will be available at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School which is located adjacent to SRAC.
